Sheringham, Poker Celebrity!
Teddy Sheringham was born Edward Paul Sheringham in Highams
Park, East London on April 2, 1966. Sheringham is well known
for playing football (soccer) in England. Teddy is one of the
classiest and cleverest English attackers of modern times. In
his long career, Teddy Sheringham formed several fine attacking
partnerships at club level, but none compared to his partnership
on the international level with Alan Shearer.
Teddy Sheringham began his football career at
Millwall. He briefly played at Aldershot, before joining Notts
Forest for £2million in 1993. He was then transferred to the
Tottenham Spurs in what turned out to be a controversial manner.
Sheringham left Tottenham in 1997 and joined Manchester United.
His most memorable moment was being a goal scorer in one of
the most amazing games at any level, when Manchester United
beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in the 1999 European Cup Final. Sheringham
and his fellow substitute Solskjaer both scored in injury time
to snatch the win for United. Teddy Sheringham can now be seen
playing for West Ham in the English Premier League.
Teddy has recently been seen on television playing
some accomplished poker.
