David Cross, Poker Celebrity!

Okay, so this is the guy: if there was one celebrity I could play poker against (other than Shannon Elizabeth or Sarah Silverman, obviously) it'd be David Cross. Not only is he friggin' hilarious, he's also a serious poker player - well, as serious as he gets. A real poker player, he came in second in the Celebrity Poker Showdown, finally taken down. But he'll be back.

David became best known for "Mr. Show with Bob and David," the show he produced with longtime collaborator and co-conspirator Bob Odenkirk. He and Odenkirk first met when they were writers for "The Ben Stiller Show." Both shows were nominated for Emmys, but were never fully embraced by the public due to their off-beat subject matter. After guest appearances on several television shows such as "Drew Carrey," "Just Shoot Me" and "News Radio," and movies like "Scary Movie 2," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and "Pootie Tang" (a personal favourite), he went on to co-star in the critically-acclaimed show "Arrested Development."
