Chevy Chase, Poker Celebrity!

Chevy appeared in the Celebrity Poker Showdown, but unfortunately his banter and one-liners were a bigger winner than his play. Shannon Elizabeth knocked him out when she flopped a pair of Kings, and that was the end of that. But Chevy's a big poker fan, so I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him.

Chase, one of the most recognizable and just-plain-likable comic celebrities in the business today, got his start in the first season of Saturday Night Live. He became an overnight sensation, and left the show (oh, the controversy!) to begin what would would amount to a comfortable film career. Chase created the timeless characters of Irwin M. Fletcher, better known as Fletch, and the timeless character Clark W. Griswold in the Nation Lampoon "Vacation" series.
