Alan Brazil, Poker Celebrity!

Alan Brazil co-presents the Talksport Radio's breakfast show with Graham Beecroft. In the past Brazil co-presented with Mike "Porky" Parry and their act was a highly successful banter-packed few hours. The banter consisted of Brazil constantly calling Parry a 'numpty' or a 'tube' and Parry returning the favor by referring to Alan Brazil's champagne lifestyle. However, Parry became ill and was replaced by Graham Beecroft.

The champagne lifestyle charge that follows Alan Brazil around does not seem totally unfair as he himself constantly refers on-air to all the sporting events round the world he has attended or is about to attend, and refers to champagne as his favorite drink.

Alan Brazil is a retired professional football (soccer) player who won 13 caps for Scotland and played an important role in an attractive and successful Ipswich side. At the age of 27, Brazil was forced to pull out of football due to an injury. As well as his role on Talksport, Brazil also runs his own racing club called Alan Brazil Racing and is an avid online poker player.
